Giving Back Through Volunteer Work
Mr. Backlund volunteered hundreds of hours from 2015-2017 with Disability Rights Washington, which is committed to advancing the civil and human rights movement statewide on behalf of those with disabling conditions. Mr. Backlund also volunteers his time as a youth baseball coach for the North Seattle Baseball Association (NSBA). His team won the championship in 2016!

Although Backlund Law Firm, PLLC, is based in Seattle, we are available to represent employees throughout the State of Washington. The office is in north Seattle and easily accessible via Interstate “5”.
We are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday; however, we also offer evening and weekend appointments by request.

If they fight you, we will go to work for you and get paid only when you recover.”
There is no charge for the initial consultation
If we can help you solve the problem quickly, by simply giving you the knowledge to effectively negotiate with your employer, we may not charge for that either. Our goal is to help you attain your goal – which may just be for the offensive behavior to stop!
In addition, for most employment law cases, we operate on a contingency fee basis. This means that we collect attorney fees only after we recover compensation for you.
